Ibiza family friendly activities

Karting in San Antonio

Situated just outside San Antonio, this is the only Karting track on the west side of the island. This is a fabulous place for those budding Formula 1 drivers to test out their abilities. They cater for all people over the age of four years old. Adults and groups are also welcome to join in the fun. There is even an electronic timing system like they have in the real Formula 1 races. Track your progress and see how your time compares to that of Schumacher and Button. After racing around the track, head down to the café to enjoy a slice of pizza or a sandwich on the terrace before you go on your next adventure.

The bowling centre

Pop into the bowling centre for a day of friendly competition and a load of fun with the family. There are four bowling lanes, big screen TVs and very high tech scoring systems. This is way more than just a bowling alley though. There is a pool, games machines, a trampoline and mini golf for everyone to give a try. When you have had enough of bowling and need something to eat, then you can enjoy some very tasty kebabs, sandwiches and pizza at the café. If you order a beer or a glass of wine you will get a free tapa – the more you drink, the more free food you will get.

The Ibiza Express

You get to choose from four amazing train trips. The first is the one that goes through Sant Carlos and the beaches. On this 3-hour trip you will take a 20km journey through timeless landscapes and very remote beaches. There are frequent stops, which will allow you to take some fabulous photos and maybe even get a bit of a tan. Then there is the Environment & culture trip, the Santa Eulalia train ride and the Portinatx – Puerto San Miguel-Cala San Vicente trip. All four of these train rides are amazing and a super way to get to see some of this lovely island.

Slingshot Ibiza

Calling all adrenalin junkies! If speed and heights are your thing, then you really need to come down to this spot. Look for the two neon-lit towers and you are in the right place for the thrill of your life. Buckle up and wait to get catapulted 72 metres into the air. You will travel at 160 kilometres per hour, which is 6G’s of acceleration. You do need to be at least 110cm tall, which is required for safety reasons. This means that small kids cannot ride, but you can get a DVD of your experience, which you can show your kids at a later stage.

Cesar’s Watersports

This nautical sports centre is the only place that you need to visit. They have everything water sports related such as jet skis, water skiing equipment, parachute sailing, boats for hire and much more. Sit in the beachside restaurant after a day in the sun and enjoy a refreshing cocktail or cool drink. They have great paella specials on Sundays and Wednesdays and a number of other delicious items on their menu. There is a bit of fun here for every member of your family and some great photo opportunities as well.

For Families

Sail around the coast in one of the many boats for hire. You will be accompanied by a professional, who will make 100% sure that your day is nothing but fun. The boats range from 6-35 metres in size and cost between 325 and 70,000 euros to hire. It is possible to arrange drinks and lunch to be served on board, or you can pack in a picnic to enjoy with your family in the sun.
