Destinations

New York

I’m a little bit of a travel junkie, which means my favourite destinations constantly change the more I fall in love with other cities, towns and communities. I therefore wanted to keep you up-to-date on my favourite destinations right now, which could help you find your next trip or holiday.

Munich, Germany

I love a good beer – so I visit Munich every year for Oktoberfest. I’ve visited the city every year for ten years and I’m not lying when I say it is an event that gets better every single year. If you’re considering a trip to either the city or the beer festival, don’t consider it any longer and book your tickets.

Tokyo, Japan

I love a city with a buzz and Tokyo offers just that and then some. The skyscrapers, gadgets and cosmopolitan dining scene well and truly has my heart. And what can I say, I’m a sucker for some colourful lights, which leads me onto my next destination.

New York City, New York

Now I’m going to follow the crowd here and say New York is one of my favourite places. I know everyone loves it, but there is a reason why people fall in love with the place. How can you not just adore a city filled with culture, characters and this vibrant buzz, which is unlike anything else in the world. It is my happy place. Most of my time travelling is spent in hostels or adequate hotels, if I’m lucky, but I always make sure I treat myself in New York, because, for me, it is a place to indulge, pamper myself and just have fun.

Reykjavik, Iceland

I have never known anyone to say a bad word about Reykjavik, which is located on the coast of Iceland. The small capital city is filled with many wonderful attractions, such as the National and Saga Museums, but the jewel in Reykjavik’s town has to be the geothermal blue lagoon spa.
