Getting Around In Bali

Have you ever been to Bali and wanted to know how to get around? I have, several times. One of the primary reasons is because Bali is a small island with limited public transport links. Thus, it can be difficult to get from one place to another. Even getting from the airport to the bus station or from the bus station to places like Seminyak and Ubud can be difficult.

However, I have also visited Bali many times in the past and know that getting around the island is fairly easy. Here are some tips for you. These may not always work for everybody, but they are worth considering if you are visiting Bali for the first time.

The first thing that you should do is plan your journey before you go. How far are you going to travel? Where are you going to base your accommodation? Bali has cheap hotels but if you intend to explore more of the local area, then you will need to spend more on transportation. In general, the further you travel, the more expensive it becomes to get around.

The next thing that you can do when you are in Bali is to research where you would like to go and then look for ways of getting around that can be done while staying in a Bali villa. This can be particularly useful if you are just staying at one of the many resorts in the area. Once you have explored the island, you will soon realize that getting around in Bali is not always that simple. However, once you have explored the local area, then it will become much easier.

You can also take a bus or a boat to most of the major towns and beaches that you want to visit. This way you do not need to use too many people for transport. By combining traveling by land and water, you can save money. Therefore, if you plan to stay in Bali for a longer period of time, then you should take these simple measures to make your round the island much easier.

Finding my way round Bali can sometimes be difficult. However, following the above mentioned steps you should be able to find your way quite easily. With your own map and with a little help from other tourists you should soon discover that getting around in Bali is not that difficult after all.
