Best Family Activities in Mallorca

If you want to take a break from the pool, you should channel all the kids’ energies into an activity full of activities and go outside and explore what the island has to offer. There is a bar on the island, but it is best to have a picnic with you. Rent a pedal boat for € 15 from Hotel Formentor, one of Majorca’s most luxurious hotels and the only accommodation on this stretch of beach, and admire the scenic mountain coastline from the bay.

The beaches are an important part of a Majorca holiday and the sandy areas of Formentor are some of the best. Add to that the landscape with steep mountains in the background and this beach in Mallorca is like no other. Just 40 minutes from Palma, Es Trenc Beach is one of the largest on the island. The Porte de Soller beach is somewhat calmer and is located in the northwest. The hotels are located along long stretches of bay around the northeastern coast of the island, which is convenient for jumping back and forth, but parts of the three-mile beach are surrounded only by dunes, junipers and pine trees, which is ideal for swimming. picnic shade – if you prefer a more natural atmosphere. Located next to the natural park, Cala Mondrago beach with white sand and crystal clear waters. Alcudia and Port de Pollenca are natural family destinations with giant gentle coves ideal for long sandy days.

Theme parks, water parks, boat tours, catamaran tours, and horseback riding excursions are just a few examples of activities for children in Mallorca. Tirolinas Go Mallorca is a fun family day with more than 80 different tree activities.

Enjoy a music and light show at the underground Cuevas del Drach, one of the most famous destinations on the east coast of Mallorca, offering a truly extraordinary experience. Diving deep into the earth on a guided tour of the Drach Caves is one of the most extraordinary things to do in Mallorca. There are many caves in Majorca, but this one is special.

You can only get there by swimming, this is the best sea cave trip on the island. I believe one of these boat trips is a must, primarily because you should try snorkelling in the turquoise waters and also see what the island looks like from the sea. A great way to see more of the island and a perfect way to explore Soller or Palma.

Enjoy ice cream or orange juice in Soller, then take the same atmospheric tram to Port de Soller and swim on the family beach. There are many ways to explore the island, but the best (and most popular) means of transportation is the vintage train from Palma to Soller. A popular tourist attraction on Majorca is the historic Tramia de Soller tram line (Catalan Tramvia de Soller), which connects Soller and Port de Soller.

It is located in the north of the island and offers horse and carriage rides. You can get to the city center on foot for more athletic families (about 3 km). The northeastern side of the island, close to the towns of Pollensa, Port de Pollensa and Alcudia, is the ideal destination for a family holiday.

Water parks are spread all over the island, providing hours of ready-made fun for children and thrills for older visitors. Finally, the unique Kathmandu Park is a story-driven hybrid of theme parks, water parks and amusement centres.
